Terms of service

Updated October 18, 2026

Triplicate is run by Elizabeth Alarcon and Ximena Morales. We haven't incorporated yet, so these terms are an agreement between you and the two of us.

By using Triplicate, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Use an email address you check.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done while signed in as you counts as you.

Your content

You own what you add. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people on your trip, and process it to run the app. That permission ends when you delete it.

Trips are shared. What you add to a trip is visible to everyone on it, and trip organizers can remove things from their trips.

When you invite someone, you confirm they'd expect to hear from you.

Using Triplicate fairly

Don't use Triplicate to:

  • break the law or harass anyone
  • share someone else's private information without permission
  • send spam or bulk invites to people you don't know
  • scrape the site, overload it, or get around its security

We can suspend accounts that do.

Suggestions and estimates

Itineraries, prices, cost estimates, travel times, and other suggestions in Triplicate can be wrong or out of date. Check with the airline, hotel, or venue before you book or pay.

Triplicate isn't a travel agent and doesn't sell bookings. Expense splits are a record for your group. We don't move money.

Triplicate links to airlines, hotels, maps, and other sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their services, prices, or policies.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them to improve Triplicate without owing you anything for them.

Triplicate's name and design

The Triplicate name, logo, illustrations, and app design belong to us. Don't copy them or use them for your own products.

An early product

Triplicate is free and still being built. Features may change or go away. The app is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as a missed booking or a trip that didn't go to plan. Our total liability to you is limited to $50.

If someone makes a claim

If your content or your use of Triplicate breaks these terms and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the cost of that claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using Triplicate and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing team.triplicate@gmail.com.

Changes

We'll update this page and the date at the top when the terms change. For major changes, we'll email you first.

The rest

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us. If one part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Massachusetts law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Massachusetts.
